Jimmy Kimmel slams claims about Epstein connection

Jimmy Kimmel has responded to Aaron Rodgers's assertions regarding the late-night host's alleged connection to Jeffrey Epstein.

As previously noted, more than 170 individuals linked to the deceased financier Epstein, who took his own life while awaiting trial on federal conspiracy and sex trafficking charges, are expected to have their identities revealed this week.

This disclosure stems from a decision by New York Judge Loretta Preska in the context of a defamation lawsuit filed by Giuffre, an Epstein victim, against Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's former associate and a convicted child trafficker, as reported by The Independent.

On Tuesday (January 2), Rodgers, aged 40, made an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, during which the New York Jets footballer and the hosts delved into discussions about potential high-profile names on Epstein's list.
The quarterback implied that the 56-year-old television show host was one of the individuals mentioned on the Epstein list, stating, "There are many people, Jimmy Kimmel included, who are really hoping that information doesn't become public."

Rodgers then humorously added, "I must say, if that list is revealed, I'll certainly be celebrating with some kind of bottle."

A clip from the show was shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) and caught Kimmel's attention.

The late-night host blasted at the footballer's speculation, writing: "Dear A***hole: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein."

"Nor will you find my name on any 'list' other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality," he continued, adding, "Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court."

The feud between the two stars dates back to March 2023 when Kimmel mocked the former Green Bay Packers star for discussing the Epstein list during a February appearance on the Pat McAfee Show.

Speaking on the podcast, the athlete said at the time: "Did you hear about the Epstein client list about to be released? There’s some files that have some names on it that might be getting released pretty soon."

Kimmel played the clip of Rodgers on his eponymous late-night show, and remarked: "It might be time to revisit the concussion protocol, Aaron." He also referred to the quarterback as a "tin-foil hatter".
The unsealed documents are expected to provide further insight into Epstein's extensive sex trafficking and abuse network, potentially including emails, depositions, and other legal records.

Notably, during Maxwell's trial, Epstein's longtime pilot, Larry Visoski, testified about flying prominent figures such as Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, and actor Kevin Spacey on Epstein's private jet, known as the "Lolita Express."

There will be a 14-day window for potential appeals, according to the New York Post.
