Machine Gun Kelly has surprised everyone with a bold revelation regarding a possible name change.

According to a report from Entertainment Tonight, during a recent concert, enthusiastic fans displayed a sign encouraging the artist to consider altering his stage name.

The singer of 'Bloody Valentine,' also known as Colson Baker, acknowledged the sign and expressed confusion, stating to the audience, "I have no idea what that sign means."

Subsequently, the individuals behind the sign clarified their intention, expressing a desire for MGK to modify his name by eliminating the "machine gun" component to avoid any potential glorification of firearms.

Although he didn't address the issue initially, reports indicate that during the GQ Men of the Year party in November, Kelly made a request to photographers and reporters. He suggested, "Instead of Machine Gun, can you just call me Machine from now on? Just Machine," while on the red carpet.

To emphasize this change, he further solidified it on Instagram by sharing a series of photos with the caption "Machine."

Does this hint at a permanent shift in his name?

One user enthusiastically declared, "MACHINE IS THE MAN OF THE YEAR" in response to the post.

Yet, not everyone seemed on board with the new moniker. "I prefer Kells or Colson," recommended one user, with another echoing the sentiment, stating, "Will always be Cleveland MGK / Colson to me."

A user posed the question, "Should we call you Machine now?" However, as of now, there hasn't been any confirmation whether this is an official change or not.

At this juncture, it remains uncertain which direction the 33-year-old artist will take, as there hasn't been an official name change on his Instagram profile, which still reads "the gunner." This stands in contrast to the fans' initial suggestion.

This development follows closely on the heels of Machine Gun Kelly and his fiancée Megan Fox making headlines for reconciling their relationship after a widely-publicized "break."

In a Good Morning America interview, Fox candidly discussed the challenges they faced, including a miscarriage with their baby, which added strain to their relationship. Reflecting on the experience, the 37-year-old actress shared, "I had never been through anything like that before in my life. I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us. And it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately, and together and apart, and together and apart, and together and apart, trying to navigate, 'What does this mean? Why did this happen?'"

In another segment of the interview, Megan Fox delved into the challenges she has encountered in past relationships, addressing the subject in her recent book 'Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.'

"I just think it was something inside of me that had to come out because it was gonna make me sick," Fox expressed.

Clarifying the nature of her book, she stated, "This is not an exposé that I wrote or a memoir." She went on, "But throughout my life, I have been in at least one physically abusive relationship and several psychologically very abusive relationships. I've only been publicly connected to a few people, but I shared energy with, I guess we could say, [some] who were horrific people and also very famous, very famous people."

Adding a note of confidentiality, she mentioned, "But no one knows that I was involved with those people."
