Will Ferrell fans confused as he’s spotted on the decks at student party

Fans of Will Ferrell were amazed after the actor, or someone who looks just like him, was spotted on the DJ decks at a frat party in California.

The Stepbrothers star appeared to be the star of the show at the University of Southern California's Sigma Alpha Mu house.
With his backwards cap and shades, Ferrell looked every inch the coolest man in the world as he was surrounded by people amazed that the actual Will Ferrell was doing a DJ set for them.

Of course, it could be a lookalike, or even Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, since the two share quite the resemblance when rocking the backwards baseball cap look.

Still, everyone at the party looking over would have seen what appeared to be Will Ferrell having the time of his life.
Plenty picked up on Ferrell's song choice as in the clip he was playing Kanye West and Jay-Z's tune, 'N****s in Paris'.

Ferrell will know all about that song as he actually features in it, as the tune sampled a snipped from his movie Blades of Glory where he says 'no one knows what it means but it's provocative...gets the people going'.

Whether showing up at parties and playing songs that feature him is a hobby of Ferrell's, we really couldn't say, though the actor's eldest son Magnus currently attends the University of Southern California so perhaps that's why he was there.

Most people would be mortified if their dad showed up to university and started playing music for everyone, but when it's Will Ferrell, things are probably a bit different.

It's not the first time he's been to the university either, as in 2017 he gave a commencement speech and received an honorary doctorate in humane letters.
"Many a night where, in my L.A. apartment, I would sit down to a meal of spaghetti topped with mustard with only $20 in my checking account," he said during his speech encouraging the students to chase their dreams.

"I was afraid. You're never not afraid. I'm still afraid."

"But my fear of failure never approached the magnitude of a fear of 'What if? What if I never tried at all?'"

Maybe that's the key, perhaps the only thing stopping people from showing up at a frat party and becoming the DJ is fear of failure.

Obviously if you're not Will Ferrell then there's a very good chance you won't have quite the same level of impact as he did, what with him being a famous actor and all.
