Elon Musk’s ex-wife Talulah Riley announced she was engaged to Love Actually actor Thomas Brodie-Sangster. The 37-year-old has been dating the British star, 33, for two years and shared news of their impending nuptials on Thursday.
Posting a selfie of the pair on Elon’s Twitter platform, the St Trinian’s actress penned a caption that alerted fans to their happy news.
Alongside the picture, she said: ‘Very happy to share that after two years of dating, Thomas Brodie Sangster and I are engaged!’ Fans flocked to send their well-wishes to the couple and congratulated them on their soon-to-be-married status.
One typed: ‘Congratulations! I wish the couple much happiness.’ Another wrote: ‘Congratulations, great couple!,’ while a separate social media account noted: ‘Congratulations to you both! May you have many happy years ahead together as 1 [sic].’
The pair of actors live in the countryside in a grade two listed manor house and recently spent a night out together at the star-studded London hotspot Chiltern Firehouse on Wednesday.
As they were leaving the popular haunt, Talulah was spotted sporting a diamond ring on her wedding finger and liked arms with her new fiance.
She was previously dating Matthew Rice before sparking up a romantic connection with the Maze Runner star until the relationship reportedly came to an abrupt end. According to a MailOnline source: ‘Talulah and Matthew were on-off for a long time, but it seems that romance fell by the wayside to make room for Thomas.
‘Talulah was dating Matthew right up until the spring, and he’s still a little shocked and saddened it has all ended between them.’
The actress was also married to PayPal and Tesla entrepreneur Elon – who she tied the knot with in 2010.
Despite only spending two years as a married couple, they divorced shortly after but remarried in 2013 before deciding to part ways once more in 2016.
At the time of their separation, the now Twitter owner said: ‘We took some time apart for several months to see if absence makes the heart grow fonder, and unfortunately it did not.’
